Overview and Experience
David Glover began his career at Windfall Films, where he devised one of the first reality TV series The Tourist Trap. He also produced the Emmy Award-winning series DNA, which told the story of DNA from discovery of the double helix, and included interviews with twelve Nobel Prize winners. He also made a series called The Heist in which he recruited a team of criminal masterminds.
He then joined the Channel 4 commissioning team. David commissioned many award winning programmes including Gogglebox, Inside Nature’s Giants, and The Plane Crash. For his Live from Space season he was given an award from NASA. He worked with a wide range of people including Hugh Grant, Jamie Oliver, Werner Herzog, and Stephen Hawking.
He now runs 72 Films and is behind shows including The Rise of the Murdoch Dynasty, and The Trump Show. He recently was asked by the United Nations to make the film outlining the state of the world for the UN general Assembly, which he exec produced with Richard Curtis.
