Waqas has worked in the industry for a number of years. Production HR is relatively new as a function within the industry and is focused on creating safe, respectful and inclusive environments on set. In his role Waqas works with leadership on production supporting, coaching and trying to improve the experience of all cast and crew.
Waqas has a passion for Inclusion and Diversity work and works to influence and educate production leadership to think about how they build this into the production environment. He works across both scripted and unscripted productions coaching and guiding others to do better when it comes to developing the right culture on production.
With the support and mentoring this programme could bring I think Waqas could develop into a future leader and with his role in Production HR and his passion for the work of InD he has the opportunity to have impact on the industry at a broad and macro level.
